New technologies that can take actual photographs of stars tell us tales of the past that we didn't know a mere decade ago, from stories of planets born around Sun-like stars, to the violent relationship between white dwarfs and Sun-like stars. So twinkle, twinkle no more, little star, as we learn about newly discovered planets, brown dwarfs, and the oldest stars in the universe!
