Light Draws the Picture: From the Photograph to the Hologram
With Paul Dancstep
8:30 p.m. | Osher Gallery 1, Kanbar Forum
Photographs and holograms are both images made with light but in different ways, using its different qualities. Join Paul Dancstep to find out how particles of light make photography possible, while holograms take advantage of light’s wave-like behavior, and how you can better understand the difference using Exploratorium exhibits, vintage holograms, and works by the artist Tristan Duke.
