Scientists at Work: A Closer Look At Krill

Millions of tiny crustaceans known as krill swarm through the waters of the Pacific, providing food for whales, seabirds, and fish. Stop by the Exploratorium’s Living Systems Lab to watch biologists from Point Blue Conservation Science as they identify and measure krill specimens. Talk with them and learn what these krill can tell us about the health and productivity of the oceans.
