“Going Solar” Workshop for Those Interested in PV Systems

If you’re thinking about going solar, or perhaps just curious about it, please join us for this free 1-hour workshop.  It’ll help you understand the basics of solar photovoltaics (PV), the technology options, the economic benefits of going solar, how you tie into the PG&E grid, purchasing tips, etc.

The workshop is offered by SunWork (SunWork.org), a small NONPROFIT that installs rooftop PV systems on low-electricity-footprint homes with the help of our trained volunteers.   We also do installations for other nonprofits, such as churches and homeless shelters. Our mission is to make solar energy more available and affordable to these two markets where the economics are generally not as favorable.

The workshop is free, but registration is required.  To register, or for more information, visit sunwork.org/events or call 408-246-8478.
