Lake Anza (Tilden Regional Park) Fieldtrip

Join us for a day of nature sketching and exploration in Tilden Regional Park.Lake Anza is a recreational swimming reservoir in Tilden Regional Park, which is located in the Berkeley Hills above Berkeley, California. The lake was created by the construction of the C L Tilden Park Dam in 1938. It was named by the East Bay Regional Park Board in honor of Spanish explorer Juan Bautista de Anza.

Bring a potluck treat to share for lunch. Lunch supplies can stay in your car until we are ready to eat so bring a holiday feast.  If rain is forecasted for the day of the field trip, the trip may be canceled or relocated to an indoor venue. Check the program description Sunday morning before leaving for updates and changes.

We will meet in the Lake Anza  parking lot. The program is open to all ages and ability levels. No registration necessary.
