Silicon Valley Leaders Symposium: Debbie Powell from PG&E - CANCELED

Since Fall 2002, the Charles W. Davidson College of Engineering has hosted the Silicon Valley Leaders Symposium (SVLS). The Symposium hosts industry and technology leaders to talk about business and technology trends. It also features prominent leaders who discuss broader societal and political issues that shape our life and society.

Debbie Powell is Vice President, Power Generation for Pacific Gas & Electric Company. In this role, she is responsible for the safe, reliable, efficient operation, and licensing of the Utility’s 5400 MW portfolio, consisting of Hydro, Fossil and Renewable generating units.

PG&E owns and operates one of the nation’s largest investor-owned hydroelectric systems, which extends from the Cascades to the southern Sierras, and is comprised of 106 units at 66 powerhouses, with 25 separate Federal Energy Regulatory Commission licenses.
