COVID Conversations: COVID-19 Demographics and Public Health Updates - Livestream
Join Exploratorium Senior Scientist Jennifer Frazier in conversation with Dr. Kirsten Bibbins-Domingo, Professor and Chair of the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at the University of California, San Francisco and Co-Founder of the UCSF Center for Vulnerable Populations at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital. It’s well documented that African Americans, Latinos, and Native Americans are overrepresented in cases and deaths from COVID-19. Dr. Bibbins-Domingo will discuss why this disease is having a disproportionate impact on these communities and what steps we can take. She will also address general public health questions on the latest guidelines, including the use of masks. Send your questions for this week’s expert by posting them here.
