How might we get people to *experience* differentDr. Brian L. FisherResearcher and Curator California Academy of Sciencesaspects of climate change through interactive art?While researching insects in Madagascar Brian realized that little time remains to help save the tropical forests. Brian launched the “Insects and People” initiative to farm native and edible insects to sustain forests and fight malnutrition. There is a long tradition of eating insects in Madagascar and insects have a small footprint provide essential protein and nutrients reduce bushmeat consumption and provide fertilizer to sustainable farming.
