CuriOdyssey extraordinary exhibition, SWOOP – A Celebration of Flight, opens on the evening of February 9 and runs for two weekends, February 10-11 and February 17-19, 2018. This unique avian and aeronautical festival will thrill curious kids and families with exciting indoor drone races and nature aerial experts, live raptors, up close and soaring overhead.
Watch drones dodge and dart as they race at dizzying speeds through a four-level obstacle course in CuriOdyssey enormous Redwood Hall. Talk with experienced drone pilots about aeronautical exploits and how to fly or build a drone yourself.
Watch raptors soar through the sky, glide overhead and perform daring feats on command with falconer, Kenny Elvin. Meet CuriOdyssey raptors up close and learn about the science of their flight from professional animal keepers during special Animals in Action presentations.
Be awed and amazed by the beauty and precision of natural and manmade flight at this remarkable CuriOdyssey exhibition.
Please note that drones are not permitted at any time outside in Coyote Point Recreation Area at any time and violators will be subject to citation and fines. All participating drones and pilots are pre-registered and managed through the event sponsor, Eaton & Associates.
