The Partner Portal has been created to make sure there was an accessible location to find everything you need to make the planning process for the Bay Area Science Festival successful and to ensure that you can communicate directly with your colleagues throughout the region.

Staff in different roles at your institution are encouraged to sign up for the portal as well! Please pass this along to anyone who will benefit from participation!

Please be sure to check back regularly for updates about the Bay Area Science Festival.

HOW DO I REGISTER FOR DISCOVERY DAYS?

Exhibitor registration for all three Discovery Days (North Bay, East Bay, and AT&T Park) is here. We anticipate significant demand for space. We will be taking registration on a first come, first served basis and will require that all forms are complete before confirming space. Plenty! Please check our Terms and Conditions for a complete set of rules. Our most common question is about animals – AT&T Park unfortunately does not allow live animals in the park, except for guide animals.

IS THERE A CHARGE FOR PARTNERS TO PARTICIPATE IN DISCOVERY DAYS?

No, festival partners have their fee waived in return for hosting another event during festival week. Select “Festival Partner” under fee classification.

Explorer Days

Explorer Days events are meant to be intimate – activities for ~20 people in contrast to Discovery Days. Tours should last 1-2 hours and incorporate a scientist or engineer.

WHAT FORMAT IS BEST FOR THE EVENTS?

Any format that will work in the setting – lab tour, hike, adventure – its all possible during Explorer Days!

CAN WE CHARGE FOR THE EVENT?

We encourage all the events to be free, but understand if a charge is needed in order to access the space.

OUR TOUR HAS AGE/SAFETY RESTRICTIONS, IS THAT OK?

Tours should be suitable to families and adults alike, with reasonable age restrictions to ensure safety. All participants should sign a general waiver liability form, either provided by your organization, or using the festival template.
