Shifting Shorelines: A Lake Merritt Site Exploration

For this site exploration on the shores of Lake Merritt we will be offering demonstrations, talks, nature journaling, plankton viewing, quick talks, and much more. Take a walk on the climate compass and learn the ways Lake Merritt's shoreline may be impacted by sea level rise. Join us in a dialog about place and ways we can learn more about where we live!

We are partnering with The Rotary Nature Center Friends, the Lake Merritt Institute and St Paul's Episcopal School. We will have a temporary set up outside and more activities in the Boathouse. The day will be family friendly with tools to use and experiences to have!
