The Electric Golden State - Livestream

Buildings are responsible for a quarter of California’s total greenhouse gas emissions. Significantly reducing that percentage is a necessary component of the state’s attempt to meet its goal of carbon neutrality by 2045. While cities and counties have led the way in pushing policies to promote all-electric building construction, with the cities of San José and Oakland some of the newest to pass local legislation, state agencies are also advancing new decarbonization rules and standards.
