We'll discuss the oppurtunities, challenges and limitations of big observational data analytics in healthcare.

Message in a bottle - What we can learn about the brain’s health by studying extracellular vesicles in the blood.
Cells communicate with each other in many different ways, one of them involves extracellular vesicles, a sort of message in a bottle that can travel through your body.
This talk will discuss how these tiny messenger-vesicles can encapsulate different types of messages, their potential use as biomarkers of disease, particularly neurodegenerative diseases and the challenges and opportunities in the diagnostic field.
