BASF - Explorer Days - UCSF Human Performance Center: Exercise and Movement Lab

Come tour the UCSF Human Performance Center and experience various ways we test human movement and performance. After a tour of the lab we will be demonstrating the use of our motion capture and physiology equipment. Several volunteers will be asked to participate in a variety of activities, while the other attendees will observe, record, and analyze the data we collect. Our motion capture system is the same as is used in film & video games with the small reflective markers placed about the body, and our physiology testing equipment is what you may have seen in Gatorade commercials, wherein a person is running on a treadmill with a mask and tube attached to collect every breath.
