Conversations About Landscape: Coming to Terms
The collective impacts of humans on Earth - including the ongoing crises of climate change and biodiversity loss - seem to dwarf our individual efforts to protect the planet. What can we do that will make a difference?
A growing community of scientists, citizen scientists, writers, activists, historians, artists, and philosophers is helping to reconceive the role of humans in the natural world - empowering us to imagine a positive future, and to participate in making it happen. Meanwhile, technological tools and platforms are enabling individuals to make observations and aggregate their data for rapid analysis and application.
Join authors Carla Wise and Mary Ellen Hannibal in conversation about coming to terms with personal and political approaches to the environmental dilemmas of our times.
