Solar Energy Training: Free Workshop on How to Install Rooftop PV Systems

Join others who are interested in helping save the environment one rooftop at a time!  This workshop is offered by SunWork (SunWork.org) and cohosted by RE-volv (re-volv.org).  SunWork is a Bay Area nonprofit that installs rooftop PV systems on small-energy-footprint homes (those that use less than $100/mo, excluding electric vehicles).  You'll learn the basics of rooftop solar energy and gain insights on how to install rooftop photovoltaic (PV) energy systems.

SunWork also does installations for other nonprofits, such as schools and churches.  Our mission is to make solar energy more available and affordable to these markets which are often overlooked by for-profit installers.

SunWork is more affordable for homeowners and nonprofits because of its cadre of trained volunteers who help install rooftop systems under the direction of our professional Project Leads.  Once volunteers take the 3-hr. training, they're eligible to participate in SunWork's installations and get hands-on experience. No prior experience is needed.

The training is free, but registration is required.  For more information or to register, visit sunwork.org/volunteertrainings or call 408-246-8478.
