Join us as we celebrate the life and work of Martin Gardner on Sunday, October 26, 2–5 pm at the Mathematical Sciences Research Institute, located at 17 Gauss Way, Berkeley, CA 94720.
Why the Celebration?
Martin Gardner was a prolific author who pursued a playful and fun approach to Mathematics, Science, Art, Magic, Puzzles and other fascinating topics. His tradition has been continued in Celebration of Mind events held at numerous locations all over the world.
This year's event marks the 100th anniversary of Martin Gardner's birth. It will include a variety of talks and engaging performances and will feature interactive activities and a wide selection of mathematical games and puzzles. Children are welcome to attend and participate in these fun activities.

This event is part of a worldwide celebration of the legacy of Martin Gardner, held annually on or near his birthdate (Oct. 21, 1914). Take the Gauss Way turnoff from Centennial Drive and drive to the parking lot (free on weekends). Otherwise, MSRI's two rows of parking on the hillside requires walking up 96 steps to the Institute's entrance.
