BASF -Explorer Days – Tour SF State University's Marine Lab on the Bay!

Take advantage of a unique opportunity to tour the inside of SF State's marine science lab with the scientists, and learn first-hand about their research. See our beautiful and historic bayfront site tucked away on the Tiburon Peninsula, listen to underwater sounds, and "Be a Diatom!"

Restrictions: 150 guests. Ages 10 & up only.

Directions: From Highway 101 north or south take the Tiburon/East Blithedale exit. Go east onto Tiburon Boulevard and continue on this road 4.3 miles to downtown Tiburon. At the traffic circle, the road name changes to Paradise Drive. Stay on Paradise Drive by continuing through the traffic circle. Go another 2.4 miles to the scientific laboratories and administration offices entrance at 3150 Paradise Drive on your right, just past the Tiburon Uplands trailhead (which is on the left). CAUTION: This is a windy, two-lane road shared with many cyclists on weekends. Take your time and enjoy the drive!
