ARCAS and Oakland Zoo

Parrots

Presented by Oakland Zoo staff members Natasha Tworoski and Liz Low. Since its establishment in 1989, ARCAS in Guatemala has grown into one of the largest and most complex wildlife rescue and rehabilitation centers in the world, receiving between 300 and 600 animals every year that have been rescued from the illegal wildlife trade. Natasha and Liz will be working at ARCAS this spring, thanks to the Lash Fund - come hear about their experiences in Guatemala!
