Effective communication is crucial to successful collaborations, fundraising, and science policy.
​To help you understand how you can effect change in the scientific and lay community, AWIS has invited Natalie DeWitt to moderate a discussion panel with journal editors, grant writers, and science journalists. 


Natalie will facilitate a conversation between you and the panelists about:
  • the current state of science communication and publishing
  • the importance of the dialog between the scientific community and the public
  • gaps that you can fill
