Earth Beautiful: Reflections from Space

Astronaut Steve Smith will share highlights from his career and reflections upon how his environmental perspective has been influenced by his time in space. He will also discuss emerging technologies for long duration spaceflight that might spin-off technologies to enable us to live more sustainably on earth. A veteran of four space flights covering 16 million miles and seven space walks, Mr. Smith is currently the Associate Director for ISS, Science Directorate, at NASA Ames Research Center.
