Using the Immune System to Treat Cancer

Dr. Levy will explain why there is so much excitement about recent discoveries that are changing the way we think about and treat cancer.

Last year the Nobel prize in medicine was awarded to two scientists, one from Texas and one from Japan for their work on unlocking the immune system to fight cancer.

These new therapies have already changed the paradigm of cancer treatment for many people and are a foot in the door for future improvements.
