Climate scientist Katharine Hayhoe will join Stanford Woods Institute Director Chris Field for a conversation on human and planetary health, her career as an atmospheric scientist, the importance of science communication, and why we should remain optimistic in the face of a changing climate.

Katharine is an atmospheric scientist whose research focuses on understanding the impacts of climate change on people and the planet. She is the Chief Scientist for The Nature Conservancy where she leads and coordinates the organization's scientific efforts.

Space is limited, and RSVPs will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Priority will be given to the Stanford community. We kindly ask that you RSVP only if you can attend.
