Nano-High, a program of the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory is a series of free Saturday morning talks by internationally recognized leaders in fields including:

- molecular medicine
- astrophysics
- climate change
- ethics, economics and societal impact of technical innovation
The talks are designed for all high school students, regardless of primary academic interest, or year in school. Science teachers welcome!

Bruce Alberts is Professor of Biochemistry at UCSF, the Editor-in-Chief of Science Magazine, the former President of the National Academy of Sciences, a co-author of the preeminent Cell Biology textbook and one of President Obama's new Science Envoys. His research has focused on the structure and duplication of chromosomes.
