Ever wonder what makes a toy buzz or blink at the flip of a switch? Investigate the anatomy of electronic gadgetry in this drop-in workshop. Bring your own battery-operated toy—any kind will do—and join us for a day of disassembly and discovery. Using a variety of tools, we’ll carefully dissect our toys to see what’s inside and how it works. How far can you take yours apart—and still have it operate? What else could you make from its individual parts?

For ages 10 and up. This event is BYOBOT (Bring Your Own Battery-Operated Toy), so be sure to bring a gadget to take apart!
