'Picture a Scientist' - Livestream Film Premier and dicsussion forum

PICTURE A SCIENTIST chronicles the groundswell of researchers who are writing a new chapter for women scientists. Biologist Nancy Hopkins, chemist Raychelle Burks, and geologist Jane Willenbring lead viewers on a journey deep into their own experiences in the sciences, ranging from brutal harassment to years of subtle slights. Along the way, from cramped laboratories to spectacular field stations, we encounter scientific luminaries - including social scientists, neuroscientists, and psychologists - who provide new perspectives on how to make science itself more diverse, equitable, and open to all.

Registration closes October 14th.  Registrants will receive a unique link and password to access the film which will be available for 48 hours between Oct 16 at 4:00 PM and Oct 18 at 11:30 PM.  All registrants will also receive a link to participate in the open forum to be held Monday, Oct. 19 from 5:00 - 6:00PM.
