Connected Sculptures: Building Internet-Enabled Free-Form Circuits
The intersection of art and electronics has given rise to a fascinating realm of free-form circuit sculptures - functional circuits that double as works of art. In this talk, Mohit Bhoite will delve into the creative and technical aspects of building free-form circuits that not only look beautiful but also connect to the internet. He will discuss his approach to structural circuit design, material selection, and soldering techniques, along with how to integrate IoT functionality into sculptural electronics. Through examples of his work, he will demonstrate how to build aesthetically pleasing, internet-connected devices without traditional PCBs. This session will inspire engineers, artists, and makers to break out of the constraints of conventional circuit design and explore new forms of electronic expression.
