University Scholar Series
Craig Clements, associate professor in the Department of Meteorology and Climate Science, received a $900,000 National Science Foundation CAREER grant last spring for his work in tracking atmospheric conditions in and around wildfires. His work will better help predict wildfire behavior and conditions that could lead to increased wildfire danger. Clements and his team of SJSU students will be doing field work throughout the Fall 2012 semester.
