Personality-Targeted Design: Theory, Experimental Procedure, and Preliminary Results

This talk will introduce a framework for personality-targeted design, much like a medical treatment applied to a person based on her specific genetic profile. In a series of studies, we examine the effect of the interaction between personality traits and theory-driven UI features on users' online behavior, and demonstrate the effectiveness of interactionist design.
