X-15, Aerospace Mutation

The X-15 was truly one of the most cutting edge ideas ever to come from drafting tables. Scientists say that there was a first sea creature that took an evolutionary leap out of Earth's ocean to become the ancestor of all land animals. The X-15 is the first primitive spacecraft to retain its hereditary vestiges from aviation; like legs on fish carrying its wings into space where they serve no purpose.
