The Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute (MBARI) invites the Bay Area community to its annual open house.
MBARI's open house highlights the cutting-edge science and technology that have made MBARI one of the country's leading oceanographic research institutions. MBARI staff, scientists, and engineers will share their excitement about ocean research and discovery. Visitors can see samples of deep-sea life and geology; explore oceanographic instruments; watch research talks and videos; try hands-on science activities and children's crafts; build your own ROV (underwater robot); and learn about careers in the ocean sciences and engineering.
