Wind Waves & a Need for Speed

In 1851, a British royal yacht race created a sensation that leads us to today and the America's Cup Race featuring the world's best sailors, the fastest sailboats every invented, and the most coveted trophy in competitive sailing sports.  This year the race will take place in the San Francisco Bay Estuary.  Check out the racecourse location at the Bay Model.  See some of the challenges that the boats will encounter and learn some fascinating history.
