Intel Museum - Free Binary Beading Class Engages Kids

Two Classes: 10:30am-11:30; 3:00pm-4:00pm

What are all those 1s and 0s that make up binary code? And for that matter, what's binary code? Students ages 7 and up learn how computers use this 'digital' language to send, process, and receive information. By using beads to represent a switch's on and off states (1 and 0), students use binary code to pattern their initials in a beaded key chain.

Space is limited and reservations are required at least 48 hrs in advance. To make a reservation, call 408-765-5050 or email museum@intel.com. Include child's name, parents name, age and telephone number. Parents must remain in the museum during the class. Class lasts approximately 45 minutes.
