Saving the Savannah
Join Oakland Zoo conservationists as we explore the wide-spread issues of habitat loss, poaching, and human-wildlife conflict in the savannahs of Uganda and Kenya. Learn about two innovative projects, the Uganda Carnivore Program and the Reticulated Giraffe Program in Kenya. Meet Monica Tyler, Oakland Zoo docent and Elizabeth Abrams, Lead Zookeeper, as they offer their experiences working directly with these inspiring programs.
