Galileo's Birthday Celebration
Born on February 15, 1564, in Italy, Galileo Galilei was a mathematics professor who made pioneering observations of nature that have helped to shape our understanding of the universe. He constructed a telescope and observed that we have a sun-centered solar system. To celebrate this great achievement we invite you to spend a fun filled day of making your own discoveries! Use a Gallileoscope and learn how telescopes work. Build and test your personally engineered flying machine marvels, meet Galileo characters and see through our own world renowned telescopes.
