Math and Science Boot Camp

SEM Link through its Math and Science Career Academy will host a Math and Science Boot Camp for students in grades 8-12 as well as parents and educators of students in those grades. The purpose of the boot camp is to prepare students to be college and career ready in the science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) fields.  The workshops will equip students with strategies and tools to be prepared to major in a STEM discipline in college and pursue a STEM career. The workshops for parents and educators will teach them how to support their students' efforts to become college and career ready in STEM. In addition to the workshop, there will be a resource fair with organizations in which students can learn about STEM careers and the college application/financial aid process.  Lunch is included.
