What Comes Down Must Go Up… Understanding the Water Cycle

Come to the Ruth Bancroft Garden for a morning of free family activities on the first Tuesday of each month. These drop-in programs are available from 10am - 12pm. Activities are geared towards families with school-aged children, but younger siblings are also welcome to attend. Parents are encouraged to participate and facilitate in their children's garden experience.

Water is precious to all living things, and in arid or dry environments where water is scarce it is especially important. Learn about the journey water takes from the Earth to the sky and back down again. Plants that thrive in dry environments have efficient ways to find, store and use the little water available. Come do hands-on experiments in the garden.
