Gigabit PHY - Redstone PHY Physical Layer Engine
Steve will be presenting the Redstone PHY Physical Layer Engine. It is the first commercially available Gigabit PHY that's has been engineered for commercial use from our research at NASA and the military. He will discuss the impact on convergent ICT and how it enables Iot, Wearbles, M2m and a new 3d/4d connected fabric. A new paradigm in connectivity and market impact. A new standard for Ubicomp enablement.
He will discuss current state of wireless, its limits and what the Redstone PHY enables. It's benefits and capabilities. He will discuss application / systems enablement (m2m, distributed computing, p2p, d2d and IoT) , ease of deployment, impacts on reduction in capex/opex, taking advantage of unregulated spectrum, wireless security and elimination of bandwidth and distance bottlenecks.
The business opportunities this represents for IoT, wearables, telematics mhealth and enterprise IT. By the elimination of the need for tetherables how it opens up vast vision of delivery of connectivity everywhere. Enablement of software driven infrastructure, and a new revenue model.
