Dedicated to the advancement of "extra sensory curiosity, join Jim and Kathy Ocean as they serve up their unique blend of "thought rock" for those who hunger for fresh & sassy lyrical commentary that sticks to the ribs and feeds the spirit.  

From 'Singing in the Acid Rain' to 'Ghost Towns in Russia', this installment of the MetaQuizzical Cafe features the Oceans' original songs that explore our current environmental challenges.  

In a serious, yet light-hearted manner, this cafe explores the intersecting issues, effects, psychology and innovations that are coalescing as we face converging global environmental crises.

Special guest Mary Munat aka Green Mary will be on hand for a lively Q&A.  

With the message that every action matters, Mary founded the local green events company (Green Mary) dedicated to waste diversion and helping events get to Zero Waste. Providing eco-education, event greening, and composting service hauling that covers the entire San Francisco Bay area and beyond, Green Mary inspires imagination and empowerment in living lighter every day.  

As an added treat, the Ocean's will debut the first installment of their serial skit, Pi Noir--Cosmic Private Eye.  (Think Prairie Home Companions 'Guy Noir, Private Eye' meets Douglas Adams 'Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.)
