Family Hike

Join us for hikes through our redwoods! Trail walks are led by an experienced hiker and Chabot educator and feature discussions about the natural environment, events and objects in the sky.

Enjoy an easy 1-2 mile end-of-summer hike through the beautiful redwoods and watch the sun set over the bay! Come back in the evening to explore the night sky through our telescopes (weather permitting) or tour the Telescope Makers Workshop. Hike will take place rain or shine.
