At Stanford's Virtual Human Interaction Lab, researchers use virtual reality (VR) to study the behavioral effects of immersive media. Visitors should be prepared to walk a virtual plank, fly around a virtual city, and travel to virtual Spain.
Requirements/Restrictions
All ages are invited. Not recommended for users that experience regular symptoms of motion sickness or epilepsy. Also not recommended for pregnant women, due to the vestibular nature of the equipment. Tour is limited to 20 attendees.
Parking is free on weekends. Closest parking is on the bottom of Palm Drive along the grassy oval, although please allow ample time for parking. Map to Lab.
