CLIMATE CHANGE IMPACTS, ADAPTATION, AND VULNERABILITY: THE NEW INTERNATIONAL ASSESSMENT
The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change is bringing its Fifth Assessment Report, authored by 800 experts from around the world, to completion this fall. The climate changes that have already occurred have led to widespread, consequential impacts. Moving into the future, responding to climate change is a challenge in managing risks. This talk will explore impacts and future risks for people, economies, ecosystems and societies. And it will look at the ways in which effective responses can help create a richer, more resilient world.
