PRIVACY AND BIG DATA

Can privacy exist in an era of Big Data? Can Big Data improve privacy or does it always hurt privacy? How much privacy do you need? Or perhaps, where do you actually need privacy, where do you want it and where should you not care?

In this talk we will look at privacy today. On the Internet, phones, wireless, Face2Face (and Facebook) and elsewhere where you needs to interact with others that you may or may not know,  but do need to trust. Do you trust your bank? Over the phone or via the Internet? With their mobile app? Your tax preparer? Your broker? Amazon? Facebook?
