Join UC Berkeley students, staff, and faculty for an address by Peter Thiel, a Silicon Valley entrepreneur and investor, and author of the #1 New York Times bestselling book, Zero to One: Notes on Startups, Or How to Build the Future. Zero to One presents Thiel's often contrarian ideas about competition, progress, technology, and how to find value in unexpected places – to build a future that we have yet to dream, but will someday become reality. "Developing the Developed World" brings these ideas to life, including his philosophies on creating truly innovative startups in the world of atoms – not just digits and bits, and how to navigate a future marked by globalization in a world of scarce resources.

This event is open to the public. Entry to the event will be open to ticketholders and a limited number of walk-ins. Walk-ins are strongly advised to arrive early to maximize their chance of being admitted. Our standard event policies apply. What follows is an overview of the admissions timeline.
