The Beating Hearts of Galaxies

Prof. Werner will be talking on his research into the largest objects in the universe.  Giant eliptical galaxies, groups, and clusters of galaxies.  He will show observations which reveal how the enormous amount of energy when matter falls into supermassive Black Holes at the center of these systems.
