Lessons from the rim Fire: What it Means

With California drought conditions building, 2013 and 2014 saw some of the worst fires in Yosemite and Sierra history. The Rim Fire and subsequent fires affected incredible amounts of acreage and economies in both the U.S. national forests and California's forests and parks. The recovery efforts and lessons learned involve stories of enormous destruction, damage, protection and renewal.
