Beyond a Drought: The Future of Agriculture in Santa Clara County

Drip Irrigation

Reservoirs are at historic lows and the state is in the midst of a drought. In response, farmers and ranchers have changed their practices and what they're growing, while elected officials have enacted new laws and a water bond. If the drought persists, more changes are likely. Join us for a discussion of what we can expect in terms of agricultural production and the viability of local farms and ranches in the coming year if we don't see substantial rainfall.

Speakers:

+ Aziz Baameur / UC Cooperative Extension
