How to tackle climate change? Observations from the Netherlands

At the end of this year in Paris the global negotiations to tackle climate change are supposed to deliver tangible results. The overall temperature rise should stay under 2⁰C and the 196 parties to the Climate Convention should agree upon the way to achieve this goal, partly by implementing national and local policies in a transparent manner.
