Ruth Reichl in conversation with Michael Krasny

Ms. Reichl is the author of books including Delicious!, Comfort me with Apples, and Tender at the Bone, as well as numerous other novels and nonfiction works. She was Editor in Chief of Gourmet magazine from 1999 to 2009. Prior to working at Gourmet, she was the restaurant critic for both The New York Times (1993-1999) and the Los Angeles Times (1984-1993). She also played a key part in Berkeley's culinary revolution of the 1970s as co-owner of The Swallow Restaurant from 1974 to 1977.
