Nightlife LIVE

SF-born, LA-bred rocker Hanni El Khatib brings his gritty-yet-infectious brand of reverb-saturated indie rock to the NightLife LIVE stage this week for the second event in this exciting summer music series.

Fresh off the release of his latest album Moonlight (and with acclaimed 2013 release Head In The Dirt produced by Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys), this return to his Bay Area roots is sure to please.

The night will open with SF's own Hot Flash Heat Wave and a set filled with retro-pop melodies to get the crowd moving.

Around the museum, take a second to contribute to something BIG with a "Wild Lights" art installation from Barcelona's Domestic Data Streamers, which uses real-time data to combine information science and eye-catching design.

Learn about the art of creative play with CODAME Art + Tech, a non-profit that aims to inspire through experience. Get lost in captivating visuals by ALL OF IT NOW!-all while exploring cutting-edge exhibits and marveling at 38,000 live animals.

Plus, don't miss this month's featured Science Side Show hosted by BioCurious and Counter Culture Labs.

Then, get your dose of science-inspired art while checking out the abstract wooden bear sculptures of Chad Hasegawa, LIVE's monthly featured artist.
